Mindbody BOLD Conference 2021

Mindbody’s annual BOLD conference is the wellness event of the year drawing in thousands of fitness, salon, spa, and integrative health business owners. In 2021 the conference took place both in person in San Diego, CA and online via livestream. Our creative team prepares for the conference all year leading up to the event from the initial concepting of the theme to working on hundreds of digital and print projects. This year’s theme was “Unstoppable”.

Highlights Included: Headliners Dan Levy and Jameela Jamil, 20+ breakout sessions, wellness classes, live demo sessions of Mindbody’s latest products, a three day expo hall, and the BOLD Bash event at Petco Park.

The following are a few of my favorite email heroes I designed for the event.

Signage

I designed over 100 pieces of printed signage ranged from standing banners, backdrops, foam core, and flags along with helping our motion graphics editor with the digital signage that was portrayed on large TVs.

This video shows a view walking around the expo hall during the conference. I designed a backdrop along with a corresponding standing banner for each booth.

This was the first year showcasing EDI and employee resource groups. Each group is special so I wanted the design to feel cohesive but unique at the same time.

Program

Along with another designer, I laid out the entire 48 page program that was printed for attendees. Inside the program included designed maps for areas such as the expo hall map as seen below.
